Capture Happiness
The last one before the end. If you are close to me, you know how this album became so much more relevant in my life ever since it released. Some poems gained new meaning and others reinforced my ideas. Capture happiness came to me as an opposition to anxiety and overthinking. I also feel I wrote it as a reframing exercise. Let us continue further together. The rest remains in the poem. Keep on getting pulled by your riptides and be light. Be Love. Be endless. Be in flow. Breathe and Be like water!
Thank you all who listened, followed, shared, mentioned and keeps listening. If one of you got touched, inspired or anything else, and I already know some of you did, then my work is done.
Back to life and more adventures. Bless you all.
Written in London, UK 2023
It struck me and I lit up.
Like a tree in flames on
Rainy days shining
It’s golden veins.
I was an open book.
A gate that cannot be
Closed. A cathedral
That gives shelter to friends and foes
There it was blinding all.
Reasons float but they
Don’t have weight anymore.
No deep breaths needed.
I wanted to capture happiness
Not be sad. I saw the end
And that made me bleed
With my inkless pen.
All the time when the goodbye
Was said, I had this feeling
Where I could conquer lands.
I was scared for it to vanish to nothingness.
That is now the truth.
I am no pain addict.
I am no broken glass people
Cut their flesh with.
It was all along me preserving
For my experience pantry but
I forgot how to access this
Corridor of jolly
A mortal coil masquerading
As a magical life. Pure Manna
nourishing all form. Was scared
That it’s not enough for.
Come come come
I am open.
Come and do whatever.
Come and be you.
Come and I’ll be me.
Come we can be we together.
